stitchers garden

so i promised pictures of stitchers garden ill refresh your memory this is an all applique quilt put out by my closest quilt store each block was prequilted on something called battilizer and then added sashing and eventually all sewn together i knew that i could not get the bulk of this huge quilt under my machinne and had a difficult time finding someone to longarm it and still be able to have it quilted and not go in debt to do it apparently stitching in the ditch is custom work and very very expensive really thats all i wanted done and echo around the appliques

and some shots of the owl quilt for eloise i had some thread issues that always fun NOT! 

so that set me back so i had to go over everything with a different thread because the sheen was different the blue will wash out  im thinking about finishing it with an allover leaves and swirl design or leaving it at just the single blocks quilted any ideas ? i have a couple xmas projects to bind i think by machine

and some random things we have a friend in aphganastan and we are sending boxes of cookies and stuff for the whole platoon for x-mas and i love this chap stick bought the remainder of the box im sending some chicken poop lip balm (theirs really no poop in it i hope )
