bubbas b-day

my sweet baby boy turned 4 yrs old yesterday as you can see he always has a smile ad a big wet kiss for me!

 not many people can understand the love between a human and a dog ive been blessed with many such loves  

and left with such unbearable heartache in there ending of life but cant imagine my life without that kind of love or without a dog in it they are always glad to see me even if im only gone to take a shower and never care what my hair looks like or what im wearing ! i thank god for creating dogs everyday 

although sometimes i get a snooty look from the cats i think they judge me and my clothing choices

  have a wonderful day!!

 i am headed to florida on friday to see my grandaughter and grandogs  i cant wait

THIS IS MY HERD OF HORSES I THINK MY FAVORITE IS THE ALL WHITE ONE WITH THE CHOCOLATE MANE I USED COCONUT FOR THE MANE ON SOME AND A TOOTHPICK AND CHOCOLATE BUILDING UP THE MANE ON THE OTHERSTHEY DIDNT TURNOUT TO BAD IF I DO SAY SO MYSELF ALTOUGH I CAN TELL YOU I AND MORE THAN ONE CASUALTY BEFORE I EVEN GOT THEM DIPPED ITHE HEADS JUST FELL OFF I THINK I LET THEM GET TO WARM ITS SAD TO SEE THEIR LITTLE HEADS SLOWLY OOZE OFF AND ONTO THE TABLE

today i will be making cake for cake balls i think im going to try and shape them into horse heads for my nieces b-day on sat never made a horse head before how hard can it be HA HA if all else fails there is icecream and pizza

the binding almost finished cant wait to wash iti dont think a quilt is finished till its washed

below it the fabric for my nieces double wedding ring ive been to sick to even want to open the boxes now thats sick!feelin like i might today

 and when i picked up my quilt i bought pattern below she has a finished one at the store and its beautiful  ive been looking at this pattern for awhile its the sonehenge fabric line

THE FLU AND SUMMER IN THE PARK HOME AGAIN

LAST WEEK ALL I COULD DO WAS LAY ON THE COUCH NO WORK NOT EVEN SEWING BUT I DID MANAGE TO GO PICK UP MY NEWLYQUILTED QUILT I HAD HER DO A 1 IN ZIGZAG ALL OVER WOULD HAVE LOVED TO HAVE SOME CUSTOME WORK DONE BUT I JUST CANT AFFORD IT

HERE IS AS FAR AS IVE GOTTEN ON MY VALENTINE CLUTCH I DID NOT HAVE A BUCKLE BUT I DID HAVE THES SLIDE BUCKLE I THINK ITS FINE I ALSO GOT THE BINDING ON THE STITCHERS GARDEN NOW TO HAND SEW IT TO THE BACK AND WASH

NOW I HAVE TO DRAG MYSELF TO WORK STILL LOW ENERGY BUT I DONT GET PAID IF I DONT GO

LET ME START BY SAYING

I USED TO BE REALLY CRAFTY, YOU KNOW SOAP/CANDLES/JEWLERY I HAVE HAD A LOT OF COMPLIMENTS ON MY JEWLERY AND PURSES OVER THE YEARS I REALLY HAVE ENJOYED IT SO I THINK MAYBE ILL GET BACK TO CRAFTING AND TRY NOT TO START SO MANE QUILTS (THAT TAKE SO LONG TO FINISH) MARY ANN CALLED AND MY SUMMER IN THE PARK IS QILTED ILL PICK IT UP MONDAY THAT BEING SAID I STARTED THIS BAG A FEW DAYS AGO I GOT THE PATTERN FROM PELLON  SEWSWEETNESS MADE THE PATTERN

NOW I HAVE TO TELL YOU THAT THE PATTERN FROM THIS SITE IS RATHER CONFUSING AND AFTER READING THE INST. AT LEAST 10 TIMES AND TAPING THE PAGES TOGETHER TO MAKE THE PATTERN I WENT BACK TO HER ORIGINAL TUTORIAL AND WAS A LITTLE MORE HELPFUL SHE GAVE A MAEASURE FOR INTERIOR AND EXTERIOR THE HANDLE IS ROUND NOT OVAL AND THERE IS ABOUT A INCH DIFFERENCE IN SIZE BUT THE INSTRUCTIONS ARE SO MUCH MORE CLEAR AND IT WOULD BE EASY TO USE THE HANDLE PATTERN FOR EITHER ONE EASILY ROUNG OR OVALI HAD AN ALLERGY ATTACK STARTED EARLY THIS MORNING AND THEY LAST ALL DAY SO NOT MUCH SEWING WITHOUT SNEEZING AND NSE RUNNING

I HAVE IT ALMOST ALL THE PIECES SEWN AND NOW I CANT DECIDE ON THE BUCKLE I DONT HAVE ON I DO HAVE D RINGS THAT I CAN USE

I THINK ITS GOING TO BE REALLY CUT WOULD I MAKE ANOTHER YOU MIGHT ASK I DONT KNOW IT USES 3 KINDS OF INTERFACING SHAPEFLEX/DECORBOND AND FUSIBLE FLEECE A BIT OF OVERKILL I THINK 2 LAYERS OF A MEDIUM WEIGHT MIGHT BE GOOD ENOUGHBUT YOU NEED THE STURDINESS TO MAKE A FINISHED LOOKING BAG NOT FLOPPYAND SOME KIND OF BLING FOR THE OUTSIDE I THINK NEEDS SOMETHINK SHINEY I MIGHT FINISH IT BY TOMARROW IM GONNA TRY TO GET A BLOCK QUILTED TONIGHT ALSO

first of all im sorry this even took so long to post i seem to have time to go through everyone elses blog but not update mine so i took a few pictures of thing i want to get done this year

this is some fabric i got on sale at walmart thought it would make a beautiful dresden bed runner IF i really do make it

       



this is the crewel world its and applique not my stron suit its supposed to be raw edge i thought i would make it harder by turning and making invisible machine applique since i really dont know how to do that either

i bought this kit in kentucky last year and yes it is still in the plastic bag



this is the weekender bag pattern im dying to start but i need to finish one thing before that i think this the fabric i got for it wrenly i think

the first month not bad for first one i still might start over and do it raw edge but the one i saw done was not i  dont know i confuse myself  well thats it

everybody seems to be setting goals and talking about what they did or did not get done

i started many prijects and got few done as i stated i think i have crafting addtherefore i have many totes with half done thngs i did make a bag out of a magazine that i saw that only used 2 fat quarters and some elastic ( i hated it)there you go im going to go through and take pictures and post what im going to do this year
