Here it is all done and ready for a lucky person

To buy that one lucky raffle ticket

It's all made of fat quarters from Joanna fabrics

I totally do not have a pattern or special ruler for this one

Made strip tubes and started cutting

I am very happy with my big feather

And swirl

Was not sure about continuing on in the white strips but I 

Ask the green fairy and Amy's free motion and they and my husband

Agree to continue with them

Carpenters star

This is what it really looks like all done

It's about 68/70

I added another 2in to top and bottom to make it a little taller

Truly is a quick quilt and so many color ops.

My blocks are 6" finished

I started with7 in and cut them down

My hubs poor guy had as cist taken off his head for the third time

A surgeon not a derm this time he says it will not be back

He has to wear a hard hat at work so yes he is home for 2weeks

I am posting from the doctors office now 15 min behind

And another beautiful sunrise at work Saturday morning

I am working on binding this week and finishing the quilting fractured diamonds

Happy so far with it I did rip out a line of stitches

We'll hopefully doc will be here soon

Quick note-... under the needle this week

This is was carpenters star but it's  wrong
rewrite resew normal for me

I think I'm going to call this fractured diamonds
It's a wedding gift for a friends daughter
I think I will do a funky feather in the wide and straight line the b&w

Hubs is working nights so cutting and pressing is quieter than sewing in the next room

And remember this one

We'll long story short the center braid is not 2.5strips it's 1.5so have to cut them down

I went to the closest quilt shop to ask for direction so I wouldn't ruin this since the shop where I bought all of it is 2 hours away

Only to be told that I don't have enough fabric to do inner braid 

So my wonderful husband drove all the way back there sat and they had enough leftover in the basement Great

I tell the same lady that we had that how it's just not like me /us to not buy extra because I measure once cut twice method

After 2hrs of looking through all that fabric she says I did get extra because she remembers I bought an extra jelly roll 

So.....here I go I am going to start cutting this week fingers crossed!
