sprained ankle!!! what?

how do you severly sprain your ankle without knowing what or when you did it that is what the doc said monday after 3 x-rays at least it was not cracked or broke somewhere anyhoo
that means that i can go back to trying to exercise you see that was my ciggerette in the morning how i quite THAT IS and if i dont have that well if you smoke you might understand i get a little grouchy
i might be slightly addicted and i like to jog a little for cardio so i will ease back to normal
have kandi's quilt at the machine and have done some ditch quilting to stabalize i think the corners(opposites) will be filled with the dragonfly and shells and swirls wish me luck green fairy!!THANKS FOR YOUR INSPIRATION

finished friday ..well sort of

i actually finished piecing this last week (dissapearing nine patch)same pattern as with my halloween quilt but a different set  up.since i have done something to my right ankle and cant use the foot pedal on my machine i dont have anything that i did this week i have an app. with doc on monday but have to work over the weekend ,guess what i do for a living  (waitress) no sitting down with my foot up for this girl grin and bear it i always say although i have worked there more than 20 yrs so they understand if i am a little slower than usual have been having this pain all month well enough about me.
 i never posted about this quilt.
  this is kandi's quilt my little dog it will be in the truck for when she goes with us and it is cold she likes to snuggle up

this is some sample quilting i did on a leftover piece i usually make a few extra for this purpose or for making a pillow to match i used a template i got from green fairy quilts i cannot do justice to her quilting on my janome but i am going to give it a try if you have not stoppped by her blog you must !!!her quilting so beautiful !!!!!!!

finished finally

i finally got the binding on my window garden quilt i also madetwo sprocket pillows got the pattern here cluckclucksew.com to go with it they have to be stuffed and a covered button added i had leftover sprockets thats what gave me the idea of the window in the center and just jelly rolled around the outside til i ran out i made up the quilting on my home mashine called it swirling hearts

 i had made two other sprocket pillows and they were added to a basket of goodies auctioned off for a little boy who had to have surgery it went really good

well thats all today

dissapearing 9 patch

so i am making a quilt with a nine patch cutting it twice and using the light print as sashing but i cant decide about the border. here is where i got the idea joscountryjunction.com i am using a cream and a line of fabric called evening mist really rich colors. it is a small quilt for keeping my little dog warm since she has to go everywhere we go and will be in the truck any suggestions would be great
