love that scrunched up look I used quilters dream cotton batting robinson anton thread and I machine sewed the binding and I have to say im getting better I just need to slow down

this was the last thing my washer washed today and it went crazy but I couldn't leave it alone when the door unlocked and I could get out my laundry happy

this morning I tried it again (laundry ocd ) it drained and spun like a champ the last 2 min it started beeping again and I could not shut it off to unlock it again now its holding my sheets captive and I cant get a date for repair until tomarrow NOWAY  BAD WORD HERE >

 

 

so did I mention today is my birthday im going to scrub the bathroom floor to get my mind off it and I made my fav cake

spice cake with caramel frosting my mommie always made it for me

I ALSO GOT THE BINDING SEWN ON THE SUMMER IN THE PARK HAVE TO STITCH TO THE BACK

LEFT WORK EARLY TODAY WITH A MIRAIN GOOD THING I GO TALL THAT DONE YESTERDAY NOT GOOD FOR ANY  TODAY

NOT TO BEGIN THE LOG CABIN AND FIREWORKS

schedule for this week

this week I plan to

Monday finish piecing the back and add the daisies to Eloise capri quilt and add the ruffle to the center more on that

this is it almost done

I added the borders one backward but that made it different and that's me

add the outer border to modern mylee baby quilt

I wasn't to hip on the colorsa fter I opened the charm pack I got 3 at a bargain last yr and thought it would be a cute girl quilt I have to say tho I like it!

just charms with 2 1/2 in squares sewn to opposite corners

 fast and simple

 in need to sandwich and baste capri daisies im thinking grey thread I bought some pre filled bobbins and new thread

I have the binding fabric for hubble cut and sewn on this week

 

2 more applique blocks for crewel world this week uh maybe (month)

 

I also added another 3 in border on the butterfly baby quilt I think it needed to be a bit larger pics later

 I also have a birthday later this week I have to work but im thinking hubs can bring home supper one night

I also need to cut out the parts for the fireworks donation quilt

well im off for another 9 hr day at work

Im getting to old to be on my feet that long but you gotta do what you gotta do!

I had a little shredding but kept going it is so frustrating

and the fabric is salt air by cosmo cricket

a leaf border and straight lines down the last border

waiting for the fabric for the binding

I really wanted to do something great in all that open space but chickened out in the end

baby quilt no one special just thought it would make a cut one  I might put another border on it

all those black eyed susans are outside our door and the bees are crazy I could hardly get a pic they swarm the hummingbird feeders to

 

so cute

2 little table toppers and yes I did love those butterflies had to stop making them or ill never get anything else done

 

well im off to work 9 hrs no time for sewing today so sad hope that the fabric comes today to finish Eloise quilt have to finish by sept 15
