Still here sorry

Sorry I've been gone I have had a lot going on

I got rid of my iPhone finally but it was easier to post and I have not had time to take photos and post them 

Holiday suck for me and this year was no different 

I have a beautiful 3year old granddaughter sent her a Mercedes and her mother refused to let her have it

Now I'll tell you we are going to Florida for Xmas and that was santos gift sent to her house

They took it back and threw a fit

Yes we are still going! 

But I have enoug trouble with my mood without this

Doc doubled my med and still not good we will hope after the holidays and begin to craft again will come out of it

Holidays eww!

So I have had a lot going on lately the last couple months were a killer at work always are but I am not as young as I used to be 

Yes yes it is true but I got a new toy it's been on my bucket list

A silhouette cameo ( cheers )

But as usual a week after I got it from Amazon if you wondered  they came out with a new one but I am happy oh so happy with mine I have not used the sketching pens yet

But I have cut fabric for some pillows 

if you've never heard of it please go to Pinterest it can draw and cut uses files from the site for free or less than a dollar no cartridges to buy like the cricket and who hoo the things it can cut and draw  I have a few projects on my Pinterest board and there are a lot more

 I'll share here hopefully soon

Freckled whimsy did a tut over at the sis six blog about these positive negative pillows using the deer head die I loved it so I'm doing some for my niece 

I am going to start a new Pinterest board of just my projects soon I hope you'll look me up

It's going to be another busy month and the father of my neises husband passed sat so that takes 3 coworkers out after they just got back from vacation so I'm pooped and back to the grind tomarrow

dissapearing rings

well here it is my version of metro rings using the ccr ruler by sew kind of wonderful I  really did not plan this one I just used some fabric I had laying around to get the hang of this pattern and then ran out of fabric so this is what I came up with of course my husband doesn't understand the whole improvising and modern quilt movement

so without further ado

he says it looks like its not finished but I love it

got the binding on this also I finished it last year and he had to point out a couple seams didn't match he is so helpful

and my beautiful niece got married on Friday so happy for her

like a sweet Amish couple

this is just a peek until I get the binding on and wash all the marks out there are quite a few I need to use disappearing ink

lets see what else  oh I got the repairman here on Monday and yesterday was my first real workout on my stairs although I did miss that banding  lol not ! it was great !

not much else my niece is getting married on Friday evening outside hoping the weather holds out should be beautiful
and of course its the weekend so I will be working  did I mention she is marrying the other Diane that I work with he is her son the other girl I work with is his sister and in the wedding so not much left for the restaurant

THE WEDDING IS THE 24TH I FINALLY FINISHED ONE BEFORE THE WEDDING ACTUALLY HAPPENED

I HAVE BEEN A LITTLE DEPRESSED LATELY I RECENTLY MADE A RATHER LARGE PURCHASE OF A STAIRMASTER I AM ADDICTED TO EXCERCISE IT IS A SICKNESS I ALWAYS FEEL OVERWEIGHT (I AM NOT THO) BUT HAVING UNDERACTIVE THYROID DOES MAKE IT HARD TO LOSE WEIGHT AND CARDIO IS NOT MY FAV FORM SO I BOUGHT A REFURBISHED MACHINE FROM A SITE AS THEY JUST DONT SELL THEM AT YOUR LOCAL SPORTS AUTHORITY THE POWER CORD WAS SMASHED TOOK 2 WEEKS TO GET A NEW ONE NOBODY WANTS TO TALK TO THE CRAZY LADY THATS MAD TO SAY THE LEAST TOO A MONTH TO GET IT GOT IT PLUGGED IN AND STARTED TO MAKE A LOUD BANG SO I CALLED BACK SO THE PLACE THAT SUPPLIED IT HAS TO TAKE CARE OF IT THEY SAY IT HAPPENED IN SHIPPING I SAY NOT SO NOW I HAVE TO SEND PICTURES AND WAIT """"""" I FOUND SOMEONE TO FIX IT FRANK SAYS HE WILL TAKE CARE OF IT (LAST WEEK ) I ALREADY HAD AN APPT FRI,

SO I CALL FRANK SINCE HE HAS NOT RETURNED ANY EMAILS AND HE HAS A GUY SUPPOSED TO CALL LAST NIGHT GUESS WHAT 

IT WAS THE SAME GUY I HAD AN APPT WITH SO I HAVE ANOTHER APPT THIS FRI FINGERS CROSSED I CAN GET THIS OUT OF MY HEAD

metro hoops (aka) teething rings

TEETHING RINGS
this is a special project i have been wanting to try this pattern its metro hoops using the curve it up ruler
which i looovvvee!
i think i have at least half of her patterns and have made quite a few
as i said i wanted to use this pattern and i am short on time my niece is getting married in Oct and i still don't have the binding on her dwr quilt 

so i got out some leftover strips of my birds and berries that i used in summer in the park and here it is i am planning on doing the quilting i am going to give it to a special baby girl that has literally been in the making 

i wont go into detail but the things that doctors can do these days

i have a couple more almost finishes but no pics up yet 

i am trying a new way to upload using my camera not phone 

but the pics have to go to picassa

AWOL ! Not really

So I'm still working on this 

I really 

have not got anything to share that's why I have been AWOL so in honer of national dog day some eye candy

We took last week off to get this large lump removed from Lucy's arm area we went up early ran blood tests as usual only to find that they are pretty sure it's cancer and she was not comfortable doing surgery I don't know about you but if the doc not comfortable I'm not so we just came home

So I good friends dad passed so visitation /funeral then took my sugar cat to vet major sneezing and dehydration I just picked her up yesterday

Oh then all this ice bucket challenge

All the waitresses where I work got the ice tractor bucket dump. That's a lot of cold water

Well oh and is have to go to work \|~€£¥

So maybe I'll get something done next week I have a couple things working 

Comparing simple curves ruler and curve it up 

Oh and tonight I'm making meatloaf and red potatoes in the crockpot

Can't wait to see how it turns out

I'm planning on quilting my missing rings so I'll be setting that up soon

So lots of talk not much quilting

Metro hoops baby

So even tho jenny has not yet posted new video for squaring up the rings and hoops blocks (like she said she would )

Random zoodle maker got it at walmart in the produce pic they really don't taste like 

Noodle but you get lots of vegg and protein if you make your own sauce I used turkey and a can of diced tomatoes with basil garlic processed and  good !and filling

So I had to make 3extra blocks right!

No I thought so 

But after I finished and went back to sew the borders I found 2blocks on the floor

They were under this fat cat!
