little more progress

i have made a little more progress on this quilt i have to say its a no brainer and the fact that i had already cut it out well its just what i need to work on before i start on another dwr for my other neice i need to be peicing the backing for it and get it up to my longarmer i should be sewing the binding on the celebration quilt and get it on the rack for raffle tickets but im not
i think i have elves with scissors see how that black strip on the piece at the machine looks to short well it is i thought it was all cut perfect when i put it away  i dont know what happens to my cutting ability



and made a little more headway on the quilting of this about four more blocks then the border
still raining here i think its never gonna stop my husbands been sick since we go thome better today

finish and a new start

well awile back i told you that i had several projects (quilts) startedthat i didnt even remember starting either i had the pattern and fabric together in a container some i had even cut out and put away like this one

a very easy pattern straight sewing on squares and rectangles and its been cut out i think 3 yrs !so i started it yesterday i need something simple after the dwr and before i start the other neices i also finished the las pillow front



forgot what i was doing and two of the sections a totally wrong oh well it was just practice anyway

oh and as if i have not seen enough circkes while it was raining yesterday i have had this thought i had 2 jelly rolls i got at joanns quilt a while back discovered after opening that there is only 4 fabrics i sewed then together used my accuquilt studio and made this unfortunatly i only had enough blue leftover for 3 sides illhave to slip something else in the other side

im seeing now that the sides are not perfect  i might need to adjust this

HOLA ! BACK FROM MEXICO

REALLY DONT HAVE A LOT TO SHOW MY PHONE CARRIER KEPT TELLING ME I WAS GOING TO INCRU A 3.99 A DAY CHARGE OR 99 CET A MIN AND STARTING SHUTTING MY PHONE OFF AFTER A COUPLE DAYS CANT FIGURE THAT OUT

IM STILL AROUND ,BUT BUSY

WE ARE STILL TEARING UP THE BEDROOM AND MY HUSBAND THINKS I SHOULD SOLEY CONCENTRATE ON THAT WHAT THE ### OK WHAT HE DOESNT KNOW WONT HURT ...RIGHT?

i added another row making 7x7 88in square i have used up almost totally 4 fat quarter bundles of free spirit solids and prints but they are not big bundles i think 15 in eachwhen i wento cut the last of i i made a huge mistake and cut on the wrong die ( the die set comes with an extra square and it is on the same block as the other one you do!!need ) as always just when i think imalmost done karmahave to finish the last of the arcs and sew on ancut the back and off to the quilt yaaa!

another gazebo bites the dusr ERR snow iwe had left the top on it because A we had another for spare B it had rips in it because of the last hail storm and assumed it would just finish ripping if it snowe etc . WRONG  you know what assuming does right ?the snow collapsed the whole thing and we didnt evern hear it go down

paints done floors up and my life and laundry exposed come on friday and get here i didnt realize how many shoes i had and i got rid of some last yr

bathroom cabinets repainted and back on thank god that loooked awful i am so unorganized now if i can get him to install that new sink and counter and faucet 

really what was i thinking turquois  you shhould have seen what i did to the walls before imagine blue dragonfliy and butterfly sponge

happy saturday /dwr process

happy saturday everyone ive been really busy we have three vehicles and they all needed oil changes at the same time so that has consumed a day off every week for 3 weeks because partly due to the fact we had alot of snow and the car could not get out of our driveway and our dealer is not just down the street heck there is no one down the street from here!

i have been moving all of my sewing accessories fabric ,rulers/books etc. to the basement because someday we are going to need the other bedroom for that grandbaby visit and truthfully it was a little crowded im not sure if i will move my mashines down there i dont know if i have room so i had to purge what i had down there

we are getting new dressers (WE REALLY NEED NEW ONES)and so now i have to paint the ceilimg and walls i have never painted in the bdrm since we moved in im sorry to say so that will take next week and we are putting down new carpet !!!yaa!!! out with the stinky one i have a shampooer and have cleaned it several times a yrs but after all the dogs and cats over the yrs its time to go

a few yrs ago we put down new floors and everything went down and never came back so its going out i gave away some scrapbooking things i cant seem to have time for i did get a little  more done on dwr tho i have pairs sewn together and i made a few more arcs i might make it a row bigger from free spirit bolds prints and solids

so thats all my rambles today

now off to work on this rainy cold day might be a slow one hope yours is great !!!
